Our personnel will provide assistance once you arrive into Lima International Airport and transfer you to your Three Star Hotel located in Miraflores city where you will receive a summary description of your tour and additional information on the schedule of your trip.
In the morning you will be mobilized to Lima International Airport to take your flight to Cusco. Then you will be transferred to a 3 Star Hotel. This tour begins in the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), then we will take you to the surrounding hills and visit the impressive ceremonial sites to give us an amazing picture of the highly engineering minds of the Incas: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay.
After breakfast in the hotel we will have the “Sacred Valley of The Incas” excursion, visiting archeological remains of Pisaq and its traditional Handy Graff Market then Maras and Moray town. (Lunch in Urubamba town is optional) Then continue our tour to visit Ollantaytambo. Thereafter we transfer you to the train station for a short drive along the spectacular views of the Peruvian Andes all the way down to the cloudy forest where our next destination of Aguas Calientes is located.
After breakfast, we have a very early start to arrive in time for sunrise at Machu Picchu, where you will have the most impressive panoramic view of the citadel which is one of New Seven Wonders of the World. In Machu Picchu we will have an almost 3 hour guided tour around the Magnificent Complex, visiting the main sites and monuments. Machu Picchu is located at 2,400 meters (7,970 ft) above sea level. After this tour to this extraordinary location you will have free time to wander around. Soon after you will go by bus down to Aguas Calientes.
We depart by catching the train back to Cusco or Ollantaytambo (time and destination indicated on your train ticket) where we will transfer you back to your hotel.
At morning we will traverse the Cusco Valley and enjoy the great Andes landscapes and on the way we will visit the Andahuaylillas Church known as the America’s Sistine Chapel because of its impressive over decorated walls. Later on we will visit the tallest Incan construction named Rajchi Temple and then the Pukara Museum. By night walk through downtown Puno’s.
We will explore Taquile Island enjoying its white sandy beach, then hiking over a pre-Inca pathway with magnificent views watching some of the native birds species and medicinal plants of the Andes. Then experience a cross cultural encounter with the local community and learn about their traditions, culture, and participate in an ancient Quechua ceremony to thank Mother Earth. At the heart of the National Reserve of Lake Titicaca explore the Uros reed floating islands on a secluded section of the reed banks. Then we return to Puno where you will be taken to your Three Star Hotel.
Returning trip from Puno to Cusco
After breakfast is where our Machu Picchu & Titicaca Lake adventure comes to the end. In the morning you will be transferred to Cusco Airport to take your flight to Lima International Airport and then to your destination in the USA.
